Touring gear - skis, skins, poles, touring boots and ski crampons (or snowboard rig)

Ski Googles and Sunglasses* - good quality wraparound with dark lenses (SP3 or SP4)
Water Bottles* - 2 x 1 litre wide-mouth (Nalgene)
Waterproof pack liner* - or 2-3 x 3 litre dry bags
Emergency survival bag* or bivouac bagFirst aid kit - a compact kit for cuts and blisters
Personal toiletries - including toothbrush, toothpaste, sunscreen and SPF-rated lip cream
Small pack towel - or just a regular towel for use at Unwin Lodge/ or other accommodation
Underwear (2 sets for more than 4 days)
Socks (3 pairs)
Thermal underwear - 2x tops, 1x pants
Mid-weight top - microfleece jersey or softshell jacket
Insulating jacket - down, synthetic, or fleece (we rent synthetic jackets)
Warm beanie*
Ski bibs/pants - or soft shell trousers
Waterproof warm gloves* - 1x pair - leather gloves are good for rope work. Liner gloves* - 1x pair
Sun Protection* - baseball cap or legionnaire hat, plus neck gaiter (Buff)
Day Pack - used when not in the mountains
Earplugs - great for sleeping in busy huts
Hut footwear - lightweight shoes or Crocs
