Aaron lives in Queenstown and is currently President of the New Zealand Mountain Guides Association. He spends a considerable amount of his time in the mountains, and Mt Cook village has certainly been his second home!

When he’s not guiding climbing or skiing in the New Zealand mountains, he divides his year between leading the Ski Patrol department in Queenstown, guiding on Quark Expedition ships in the Antarctic and leading expeditions to other mountain regions in the world, such as Nepal.

Growing up amidst the Southern Alps - and learning to ski and climb from a young age - he is passionate about sharing the mountains with his clients. Aaron reckons that another key element to enjoying these mountain experiences is the quality of the mountain cuisine that accompanies every trip he runs!
