Our winter guiding menu (July-October) includes a feast of ice climbing, ski mountaineering, ski touring, avalanche courses, and our unique Helicamp.

Winter is the time to perfect your backcountry touring technique, avalanche safety, and ice climbing skills.

Summer climbing season 2013-14

Summer is the best time to climb NZ's highest peaks, or learn basic skills of mountaineering on a climbing instruction course. Summer climbing season runs until late-April.

  • Malte Brun Expedition - a 6 day guided ascent of the highest peak in the Malte Brun Range (3,199 metres). A fantastic late-season challenge.
