Summer climbing season is here
Summer climbing season has begun. In New Zealand summer is the best time of year to learn the basics of alpine mountaineering, or climb one of NZ's highest peaks, Mount Cook, Mt Aspiring - or your "significant other" objective.
Bookings are open, and some periods are already full.
Our inaugural expedition to Aconcagua runs this February. There are still slots available for keen mountaineers.
New NZ trips running this summer:
- Malte Brun Expedition - a 6 day guided ascent of the highest peak in the Malte Brun Range (3,199 metres). A fantastic late-season challenge.
- Intro to Alpine Rock Course - 5 day introduction to sport, trad and multi-pitch rock with the dramatic backdrop of the Southern Alps
